Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods is in a bit of a tough situation. He was an unexpected inactive last week against the Chicago Bears after a personal issue required his attention. He returned to the team on Thursday for practice and plans to play on Monday, but it sounds like there is some uncertainty hanging over his situation.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that Woods is still dealing with a personal issue that could require his attention at any moment. The Rams are offering him their support, but they are left waiting to see what may or may not happen by the time Monday Night Football kicks off.
For fantasy football owners, you’ve likely already made your call on Woods. Even if healthy and active, he’s not a great start this week against an improving Ravens defense. But, if you’re planning on playing him and he ends up inactive, guys like Josh Reynolds and Willie Snead would be the only receiver options to consider that might be available.
