How the public is betting Ravens-Rams Monday Night Football

The betting public thinks Lamar Jackson is in line for a big game.

The Los Angeles Rams host the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football to close out Week 12, and LA is a 3.5-point underdog at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Ravens have won six straight games and are coming off a thumping of the Houston Texans. The Rams have won three of their last four, but wins over Chicago, Cincinnati, and Atlanta don’t exactly draw praise like wins over Houston and New England.

It is no surprise then that the betting public is backing the Ravens in a big way. Early Monday afternoon, DraftKings Sportsbook released the Week 12 MNF splits. The public is betting the Ravens -3.5 to the tune of 76 percent of the handle and 84 percent of tickets bet. The public is backing the Ravens money line (Ravens -182, Rams +160) to the tune of 89 percent of the handle and 83 percent of tickets bet.

The public also sees a high-scoring affair. The point total is set at 47.5, and 70 percent of handle and 61 percent of tickets bet are on the over. There’s some big name defensive talent on display, but I have a feeling most people think Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will be the primary reason the game goes over the point total.
