49ers vs. Ravens 2019: Point spread, total, moneyline and more for Week 13

Final score update: The Ravens edged out the 49ers 20-17 on a last second Justin Tucker field goal. The game came in under the 45.5 point total, and the 49ers covered a spread that ranged from 4.5 to six points.

This is one of the best matchups of the entire season, pitting the 10-1 Niners against the 9-2 Ravens. Baltimore is the top team in the NFL in point differential, while San Francisco sits at third. This game certainly profiles as a Super Bowl preview. The Niners are ranked second in defense by Football Outsiders DVOA, but it is worth noting that they are just 16th against the run. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have rushed for 2,316 yards on the year, over 700 more than the next-closest team (ironically, the Niners). Baltimore also leads the league in yards per carry by 0.7 yards. With the Ravens also rating low in rush DVOA (just 24th), a good bit of this game should be decided on the ground.

Through the air, both teams are far better defensively, with the 49ers and Ravens rating second and third respectively in pass DVOA. This should not be an aerial assault. The game will also play out fairly slowly if the teams play to form. Each of these teams is 26th or worse in total pace of play according to Football Outsiders. From a playoff perspective, the Ravens will all but lock up a first round bye if they win, while the Niners could find themselves not only at risk to lose a bye, but lose the division with a loss.
