We get Hunter Henry and Travis Kelce back from their byes and George Kittle looked healthy last week despite floating bones bee-bopping along in his ankle. Zach Ertz has seen a target boom of late and Darren Waller should see his usage increased with Hunter Renfrow hurt. The tight end position is on the upswing and just in time for the fantasy playoffs!
Injury/Status Report
Austin Hooper worked on the side at practice Thursday but doesn’t look like he will play on Thanksgiving.
Gerald Everett isn’t hurt from what we can tell, but he did only play 17 snaps last week to Tyler Higbee’s 38 snaps on Monday night. The matchup against the Cardinals is good, but we may not have a clear lead tight end going into this game.
Eric Ebron is on I.R. for an ankle injury. Jack Doyle will get a boost.
TE Ranking Tiers
Tier 1
Travis Kelce already punished the Raiders in Oakland, and now they head back to Kansas City, where he will torture them some more.
Zach Ertz has been a target hog of late and now gets a cushy matchup with the Dolphins.
The absence of Hunter Renfrow should help Darren Waller see more consistent targets and in a good matchup with the Chiefs.
Tier 2
Jared Cook has gotten on track of late and faces a Falcons defense he just caught six passes for 74 yards against in Week 10.
Ryan Griffin keeps scoring touchdowns, and this week he faces a weak Bengals pass defense.
TE Streamers
Jack Doyle should see more targets with Eric Ebron on IR, and the Titans haven’t been good against tight ends.
Noah Fant continues to be a top target for Brandon Allen. He’s risky, but he’s also going to have a big game at some point.
