Point spread, total, moneyline and more for Saints-Falcons on Thanksgiving in Week 13

The Saints seek revenge against the Falcons on Thanksgiving night. We break down notable odds, including the point spread, trends, and ATS history.

You know what they say, “save the best for last!” All signs are pointing to the Thanksgiving night game being the most exciting and enjoyable of the holiday. The New Orleans Saints are seeking revenge from the Atlanta Falcons. When they met three weeks ago, we saw one of the most shocking results of the season. The 1-7 Falcons somehow blew out the 7-1 Saints in the Superdome. It would be absolutely bizarre if we see a similar scoreline in this one, but I suppose anything is possible.

The total is nearly at 50 points, indicating the potential for these two quarterbacks to shoot it out. Matt Ryan (DFS salary $6,400) threw for 300+ yards in his first six starts this season, but has only achieved that feat once in his last four. We’ve seen a clear drop-off without his go-to tight end, Austin Hooper, who remains out. With Julio Jones ($7,300) questionable and likely a game-time decision, Ryan’s options may be running thin. At least he’ll have Devonta Freeman ($5,100) back on the field, for what it’s worth.

Meanwhile, the Saints have scored 34 points in two consecutive games and shouldn’t have any problems getting to the endzone against one of the league’s most generous defenses. Drew Brees ($6,800) has locked on to Michael Thomas ($9,100), who leads the league in receptions (104) and receiving yards (1,242). The pair have connected for 100+ yards in each game since Brees made his return. Aside from Thomas, the veteran QB seems to only pass to Alvin Kamara ($8,100) and Jared Cook ($4,800), as they’re averaging 9.7 and 6.7 targets per game over their last three.

The table is set and the Saints will be ready to feast on Thanksgiving night. Regardless of the road game and the previous loss to the Falcons, I’m taking the Saints to cover.
