Thanksgiving has arrived, and with it comes the annual triple-header of Thursday football. Week 13 gets going with a grab bag of football options, and the Thursday opener closes with a fun rivalry matchup. The Atlanta Falcons host the New Orleans Saints in a rematch of the Falcons stunning Week 10 upset in New Orleans. If the Saints win, they clinch the NFC South.
This should be a fairly explosive matchup, with both sides offering plenty of offense and some question marks on the defense. The Falcons defense is decidedly worse, but the Saints have been inconsistent enough that Matt Ryan and company should be able to do fairly well.
Matchups are key, but it helps to see what the analytics are saying about potential performances. Looking at ESPN fantasy projections for season-long leagues (1/2 PPR setting), the ground games are getting some love, with Devonta Freeman’s return providing both Week 1 starting running backs in action. Julio Jones has a sizable projection, but his status is in question due to a shoulder injury.
Here are Week 13 Thanksgiving projections for Saints-Falcons to help you further improve your fantasy chances!
