The Detroit Lions face all sorts of issues coming into Week 13, with quarterback Jeff Driskel not playing in their divisional showdown with the Chicago Bears. Rookie David Blough will get the start, and he’ll have most of the non-Kerryon Johnson skill position players available.
That includes rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson, who was listed as questionable on the final injury report. He was limited in practice on Monday and Tuesday due to a shoulder injury, but was a full participant on Friday.
Fantasy football analysis: Lions tight ends
Hockenson burst on the scene in a big way in Week 1, setting a record with 131 yards and a touchdown on nine receptions. He has scored one touchdown since and has not gone over 56 yards in a game. Logan Thomas and Jesse James are cutting into his snaps as well. Hockenson has the talent to eventually bounce back, but his 2019 fantasy value seems to have reached its floor for the time being. He’s not worth starting this week.
