The New Orleans Saints are on track to lock up the NFC South at the home of their oldest rival. The Saints are up 20-9 on the Atlanta Falcons, and they just added some serious insult to injury.
Late in the third quarter, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan threw a pass right into the hands of defensive tackle Shy Tuttle. The DT had the end zone on his mind while Ryan decided it made sense to try and tackle a 300 pound human. Ryan went in for the tackle and Tuttle stiff-armed him.
It’s an understatement to call it a stiff arm because he did Ryan oh so dirty on this play. He shoved Ryan to the ground in a big way. Tuttle didn’t make it to the end zone, but he’ll remember that stiff arm for a long time.
