Is this the week the Bengals finally lose that zero?

The Jets are flying high while the Bengals are winless. I don’t know if Cincinnati wins on Sunday, but it’s time to sell high on the Jets.

The Cincinnati Bengals host the New York Jets in Week 13 in what is one of their last best chances to get off the schneid and win their first game of the season. The 0-11 Bengals get a road game with the Miami Dolphins in Week 16, and then close out the season at home against a shaky Browns team in Week 17.

Meanwhile, the Jets have won three straight and sit two games back in the wild card race. They’re coming off a rather shocking 34-3 demolition of the Oakland Raiders, which adds a little more credence to a win streak that start against the Giants and Washington.

The Jets are a field goal favorite against the Bengals at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set at 41. The Jets are -175 on the money line, while the Bengals are +150. This is the Bengals second lowest point spread of the season. They were favored by a point against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2.

Pick against the spread

The Jets enter this game 5-6 against the spread, but it’s the Bengals who have been quite impressive against the number. They may be 0-11 straight up, but they are 4-6-1 against the spread this season. Now they welcome back Andy Dalton and face a banged up Jets defense coming off a thumping of the Oakland Raiders.

The Jets are on a roll, but this reeks of a letdown possibility. The betting public is all over them as they face a pair of awful opponents in Cincinnati and Miami the next two weeks. New York could roll in these games, but Jets fans are due a disappointment. This is less about betting the Bengals and more about selling high on the Jets.
