NBA picks against the spread for November 29th

We’ve got Kawhi Leonard revenge on tap with the Clippers taking on the Spurs. Will that impact how we bet the game? Duh. More picks from DraftKings Sportsbook here.

I’m totally not going through withdrawal due to the lack of basketball from Thanksgiving. Actually, I think it’s just a massive food coma hangover or something. Or maybe it’s because we had a huge night on Wednesday night’s slate, going 10-4 against the spread on the 14 games. Nope, definitely just a regular hangover. Anyway, we’ve got another 12 games for tonight’s main slate to pick from on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Nets already covered the spread this afternoon against the Celtics. So here we go.

Raptors (-3.5) at Magic
Hornets (+8) at Pistons
Bucks (-11.5) at Cavaliers
Knicks (+7) vs. 76ers
Heat (-11.5) vs. Warriors
Pelicans (+4) at Thunder
Jazz (-7.5) at Grizzlies
Pacers (-10) vs. Hawks
Clippers (-6) at Spurs
Mavericks (-2) at Suns
Bulls (+7.5) at Trail Blazers
Lakers (-11) vs. Wizards

The first three picks we’re going with road teams. The Raptors at that small a spread vs. a weaker opponent seems like a gift. Aaron Gordon may get back in the lineup for the Magic, but I don’t view him as a needle pusher. The Hornets just beat the Pistons by one at home, so giving them eight points on the road seems favorable. I like the Knicks to cover the 76ers again at home. Philly won’t have Al Horford or Josh Richardson in this game, so it should be more of an even matchup, plus the Sixers play down to their competition most of the time.

The Heat should have almost a full rotation for a matchup against basement-feeder Golden State. The Pels put up a fight against the first-placed Lakers, so I think giving them points against a team that isn’t going to keep up with them on offense is ideal. I think Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers go in and demolish the Spurs, who just aren’t as good as the linemakers are giving them credit for. Luka Doncic and the Mavericks at -2 in what should be a close game. Advantage: Doncic. I know the Bulls are going to burn me with this pick, but something’s gotta give. They desperately need a win and the Trail Blazers are beatable.
