The Oakland Raiders welcomed back wide receiver Tyrell Williams in Week 8 after he missed two games plus the bye week with a foot injury. Williams did not miss a beat in his return, catching three passes for 91 yards and a touchdown against the Houston Texans. In five games, Williams has five touchdowns — one in each game.

The Raiders host the Detroit Lions in Week 9, and after electing not to make a claim on Josh Gordon, Williams remains the top option. Hunter Renfrow showed some signs of life in Week 8, catching four passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. Zay Jones made his debut and had two catches on two targets for 27 yards.

Fantasy football analysis: Raiders WR Tyrell Williams

The Lions defense started the season strong but has sagged in recent weeks. They have given up the 11th most fantasy points to wide receivers. This looks like a game that could shoot past the over, and it’s a decent bet Williams finds the end zone once again. He’s a solid start in all leagues.

Renfrow and Jones are going to be fighting for opportunities after Williams, tight end Darren Waller, and running back Josh Jacobs. Renfrow is coming off the bigger game, while Jones has more experience. Renfrow offers modest upside in deeper league, so could be worth a start if you’re desperate. Jones is not worth it right now.
