The Dallas Cowboys are in New Jersey to face the New York Giants in Week 9 Monday Night Football, and it could be a big opportunity for the Cowboys wide receivers. Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and Randall Cobb all are in position for big games as the team comes out of their bye.

Cooper and Cobb were both game-day decisions in the Cowboys pre-bye Sunday Night Football contest against the Eagles. Both played, with Cooper leading the team with five receptions for 106 yards. This week, Cooper (ankle) and Gallup (knee) were both listed on the practice participation report, but were full participants all week and removed from the final injury report.

Fantasy football analysis: Cowboys WRs Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, Randall Cobb

The Giants rank third worst for fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. Additionally, they rank 28th in pass defense efficiency. This is a bad defense against the pass, which bodes well for Dak Prescott. While Prescott can have his ups and downs against good pass defenses, he can be a machine against bad ones.

When these two teams squared off in Week 1, Cooper had six receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown, Gallup had seven receptions for 158 yards, and Cobb had four receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown. The Giants have the weapons to hang in this game, but if they do, it will be a shootout, not a defensive struggle. All three hold considerable fantasy value, with Cobb being more focused on PPR leagues.
