Carlos Hyde has huge game, ugly late game fumble

Texans running back Carlos Hyde is having a whale of a game, but a late fumble costs fantasy owners.

The Houston Texans are handling their business against the Jacksonville Jaguars to open Week 9 Sunday in London, and Carlos Hyde has been a key cog. Hyde has rushed for 160 yards on 16 carries, marking the third best rushing yardage game of his career.

It could have been an even bigger fantasy performance for Hyde, but he fumbled away a touchdown in the back half of the fourth quarter. Hyde broke off a 58-yard run in the open field, but Jarrod Wilson hustled after him and stripped the ball from behind right before the end zone. The ball rolled into the end zone and Jacksonville recovered.

Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew subsequently threw an interception and the Texans avoided letting Jacksonville back in the game. They quickly moved down the shortened field and put the game away on a DeAndre Hopkins touchdown.

Hyde is having a solid game for fantasy owners, but it will sting for some getting 16 fantasy points instead of 22 from Hyde.
