What is Kenyan Drake’s fantasy football status, DFS price for Week 2?
The Kenyan Drake experience got off to rough start in 2019. The Miami Dolphins were never in the game as the Baltimore Ravens jumped out to an early lead. It’s difficult to get a handle on how Drake may be used in the future based on 6 total touches in a game that quickly got out of hand. What we do know is that Kalen Ballage dominated the early opportunities and even when the Dolphins needed to play catch-up, Drake only received 3 targets (catching 2 for 15 yards).
Unfortunately for Drake, the next challenge isn’t much easier. The New England Patriots just kept James Connor in check and outside of one big play Drake didn’t have much success against this defense in 2018. His Week 2 price is $4,300. Running backs who played better in Week 1 who have a similar price this week are Devin Singletary, Malcolm Brown and Justin Jackson. Kenyan Drake may not be a popular option in Week 2, but he has been known to break a big play ever so often.
