Notable absent players during Week 10 byes

The NFL enters a tough stretch of byes over the next three weeks. Week 10 byes include the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington. We break down the fantasy implications.

This past weekend had four byes, with the Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints. That meant no Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, and Cooper Kupp. For Week 10, we see six teams out, which is the most on the season. Week 10 will likely be the toughest bye week so far.

Each week we’ll take a look at the notable players you’ll need to replace each week over these ten weeks. This week’s byes include the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington. There are some notable names sidelined, so fantasy football decisions are going to continue getting more complicated.

Week 10 will see some prominent performers’ names sidelined. Quarterbacks will be thin this week, but thankfully we don’t need to worry about the Broncos or Washington due to their unfortunate signal-caller situations. But Deshaun Watson, Gardner Minshew, Tom Brady, and Carson Wentz will all be taking a break. That will push us toward streamers like Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Brissett, Kyler Murray, Sam Darnold, and Daniel Jones.

We also have a bunch of running back committees out, with the Broncos, Texans, Patriots, and Eagles all supporting multiple fantasy backs, which limits flex plays. Leonard Fournette’s huge workload takes a seat, while fantasy studs, DeAndre Hopkins, D.J. Chark, and Julian Edelman, will need to be replaced.

Here is a look at key players sidelined during Week 10.
