The Miami Dolphins season is a lost cause, and it took another hit in Week 9. Wide receiver Preston Williams suffered a wrist injury and then a knee injury in their win over the New York Jets, and the latter injury is going to cost him the rest of the season, according to head coach Brian Flores. Williams left the game with five catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy football analysis: Dolphins WRs Preston Williams, DeVante Parker
Williams was starting to break through and emerge as a solid fantasy option, even on a truly awful football team. DeVante Parker had four receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown and will see that many more targets with Williams out.
Williams will be owned in most dynasty leagues and some keeper leagues. It will be interesting to see how far he climbs in pre-draft rankings in 2020. He started looking like a WR3 and with an improvement at the quarterback position, who knows where he might climb.
