Best D/ST values for Week 10 daily fantasy football

We take a look at some of the best D/ST value plays for Week 10 on DraftKings, including the Rams, Steelers and Bills.

Defense and special teams are one of the more volatile positions at DraftKings, so sticking with a less expensive play is usually a good route, especially if you like the matchup. Below are a few matchups we like on the cheaper side for Week 10.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (3,000)

Mason Rudolph has shown signs of competency since taking over for Ben Roethlisberger. Still, they’ve been inconsistent signs, and now he’ll take on Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey coming off a bye.

New York Giants @ New York Jets ($2,800)

Sam Darnold has regressed into a small, curled up ball, and his team has now given up the most fantasy points to D/STs on the season. IN his four games since returning from mono, he’s turned the ball over four times, and last week against the hapless Miami defense, he put up 260 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a loss. The Giants defense is mostly bad, but they can get to the quarterback, ranking seventh in adjusted sack rate. Darnold truly is seeing ghosts, and the G-men will send some big corporal bodies at him as well.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Los Angeles Rams ($2,500)

The Steelers are getting after the quarterback in a big way this season, ranking third in sacks per game and third in adjusted sack rate. The last time Jared Goff faced a strong pass rush, he threw for just 78 yards and was sacked four times by the 49ers. The Steelers will get after Goff, as the defense is likely their best chance of winning on the road.

Buffalo Bills @ Cleveland Browns ($2,900)

Brandon Allen outdueled Baker Mayfield in Week 10, and the Browns have now allowed opposing D/STs to put up the fifth-most fantasy points on them. Earlier in the season, it felt like it was only a matter of time until the Browns turned things around, but it appears Freddie Kitchens is over his head as a full-time coach. Buffalo’s defense hasn’t allowed a quarterback to top 250 passing yards and has more interceptions than passing touchdowns allowed.

Arizona Cardinals @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($2,700)

Jameis Winston ended his awful turnover streak in Seattle by only losing one fumble and not throwing an interception. But after giving the ball away 11 times in the previous two games, he can’t be given the benefit of the doubt, even against a weak Cardinals defense.
