Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams had an unexpected streak snapped this past week when he failed to find the end zone. He had scored a touchdown in each of his first five games this season, but was held to three receptions for 48 yards and no score in Week 9.
Williams had missed two games split over the team’s bye with a foot injury, but has now played two straight. He had three receptions in each game, while Hunter Renfrow has started to emerge ahead of him. Renfrow has ten receptions for 142 yards and two touchdowns in those two games.
Fantasy football analysis: Raiders WR Tyrell Williams
The Raiders host the Los Angeles Chargers, who are giving up the eighth fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. They shut down the Packers in Week 9, with Davante Adams held to seven receptions for 41 yards. Kenny Golladay in Week 2 is the last receiver to surpass 100 receiving yards against them, and Tajae Sharpe and Corey Davis in Week 7 were the last to find the end zone.
Another strong week from Hunter Renfrow could flip the math on this, but in a week with six teams on bye, Williams still has some starting value. He’s not a great PPR option given he has three receptions each of his last four games, but he’s worth a roll of the dice in standard leagues if you really need help.upside.
Standard: Sit, outside of more dire circumstances
