The Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers square off on Thursday Night Football to open Week 10, and it could be a shootout. DraftKings Sportsbook installed the game with the third highest point total at 49. Neither defense has been particularly impressive, with the Chargers ranking 26th and the Raiders ranking 29th in overall defensive efficiency, respectively.
This should be a big game for the two offenses, and you should be looking elsewhere for fantasy defense options. One of the two could get lucky, but it’s hard to see it happening. The Raiders have given up the third fewest fantasy points to opposing offenses, while the Chargers are in the middle of the pack at 17th. Even if you’re desperate in a week of six byes, there are going to be better options on your waiver wire.
If you need an option, some defenses owned in less than a third of ESPN leagues include the Browns (facing a shaky Bills offense), the Chiefs (facing an inconsistent Titans offense), and the Jets (facing rookie Daniel Jones). There are plenty of options to at least consider before grabbing either the Chargers or Raiders.
Start/Sit Recommendation
