The Dallas Cowboys face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10 on Sunday Night Football and they have a question mark at the wide receiver position. Amari Cooper was limited at practice on Wednesday due to an ankle/knee issue, and was downgraded to DNP on Thursday after getting an MRI, per beat writer Michael Gehlken.
Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett sounded optimistic about Cooper’s chances of playing on Sunday, per Ian Rapoport, and the MRI is viewed by the team as precautionary. That being said, missing practice for an MRI is not ideal. The Cowboys have one more day of practice on Friday.
Fantasy football analysis: Cowboys WR Amari Cooper
This will be something big to watch on Friday, and odds are decent Cooper ends up questionable and a game-time decision. Given the Cowboys are playing Sunday evening, it could leave fantasy owners scrambling. If Cooper plays, he’s a solid start, even against a quality Vikings defense. If he doesn’t play, Randall Cobb would see a bump in work behind Michael Gallup.
