If you’ve been sitting on Josh Gordon on your fantasy football roster, get ready to get excited! Gordon made his open practice debut on Thursday as the team began formal preparations for Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Seahawks acquired Gordon a week ago in a waiver claim from the New England Patriots. Gordon was waived off injured reserve as he was rehabbing a knee injury. He did not play last week when Seattle hosted the Bucs, but did pass his physical over the weekend. He joined the team in practice today, and the team shared this photo of him running with the ball.
Gordon was productive with the Patriots, but not quite his old explosive self. He faces a tough 49ers defense in Week 10, so it might be worth waiting to see a) how he looks, and b) what kind of role he gets along with Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. Gordon is talented, but Lockett and Metcalf have been productive and have a built-in chemistry with Russell Wilson. Fantasy owners will want to give this a week or two to see what’s up.
