The Rams will be coming off of their bye week post-London, and will be looking to build off of their momentum having won two straight games by a total of 41 points. The Rams have played excellent defense this season, ranking fourth in Football Outsiders DVOA. Where this team has struggled, surprisingly, is offensively. What was a dominant offense last season is ranked just 18th in 2019 by DVOA. They have the 15th-best adjusted net yards per pass attempt, and are averaging 3.9 yards per carry, good for 22nd. Things won’t be any easier this weekend, as the Rams will be without field-stretcher Brandin Cooks as he deals with a concussion.

Pittsburgh had an awful start to the season, losing star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and dropping the first three games of the year. The Steelers have now gone 4-1 over their last five games, with a point differential of +43. The biggest change to the team has been on defense, where trading for defensive-back Minkah Fitzpatrick has completely revamped what started the year as a poor unit.

Without Fitzpatrick (0-2):

61.6% pass success rate allowed
20.5% explosive pass rate allowed
6.4% sack rate
9.2 yards per pass attempt allowed
30.5 points per game allowed

With Fitzpatrick (4-2):

46.8% pass success rate allowed
13.7% explosive pass rate allowed
10.5% sack rate
7.5 yards per pass attempt allowed
18 points per game allowed

The Steelers are the fifth-rated defense by DVOA, and it should be the key to them continuing success going forward.
