Best daily fantasy football tight end plays over $4,000 in Week 10

Injuries or trades to two #3 wide receivers make these tight ends even more appealing on Sunday. We break down your best high-value TE options in Week 10 DFS.

The Sunday kickoffs for Week 10 are almost here, and it’s time to start plotting out your Week 10 DFS lineups. In Week 9, a lot of the usual suspects dominated, but we had some under-the-radar names step up in a big way to key folks to victory.

If you find good value elsewhere in your DFS lineup, that affords you the luxury of ponying up for a premium player at a different position. If you’re able to spend a little more money on a player, who not make it the tight end position?

So here are three best tight end plays over $4,000 that could provide the best value for Week 10. Values from DraftKings.

Travis Kelce (KC) - $6,400

Patrick Mahomes is back. The end.

But really, what more do you need? The reigning MVP returns at quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Kelce remains one of his top receiving options. The Chiefs face off against the Tennessee Titans who last week only allowed 40 receiving yards to Greg Olsen. Kelce is leaps and bounds beyond the caliber of player that Olsen is at this point in their respective careers, and Mahomes is a far better quarterback than rookie Kyle Allen. Look for Kelce to have another solid ho-hum day on Sunday.

Austin Hooper (ATL) - $5,500

The Atlanta Falcons and one of the NLF’s best passing offenses travels to New Orleans to face the Saints in the Super Dome. Marshon Lattimore will likely shadow Julio Jones all game. That means Eli Apple will be on Calvin Ridley. Without Mohamed Sanu, who will be the #3 receiver in the Atlanta offense? Likely Hooper, who will be lining up against a rookie in CJ Gardner-Johnson.

Gerald Everett (LAR) - $4,500

Like the Atlanta Falcons who will be without Mohamed Sanu after a trade with the New England Patriots, the Los Angeles Rams will likely be without their #3 receiving option in Brandin Cooks due to a concussion. That means good things for Gerald Everett as the Rams face off against 7th-worst defense against opposing tight ends in the Pittsburgh Steelers.
