Best daily fantasy football WR plays over $5,000 in Week 10

Could this be the start of the bounce-back for Odell Beckham Jr.? We break down your best high-value WR options in Week 10 DFS.

The Sunday kickoffs for Week 10 are almost here, and it’s time to start plotting out your Week 10 DFS lineups. In Week 9, a lot of the usual suspects dominated, but we had some under-the-radar names step up in a big way to key folks to victory.

If you find good value elsewhere in your DFS lineup, that affords you the luxury of ponying up for a premium player at a different position. If you’re able to spend a little more money on a player, who not make it the wide receiver position?

So here are three best wide receiver plays over $5,000 that could provide the best value for Week 10. Values from DraftKings.

Michael Thomas (NO) - $8,300

Michael Thomas is the leading the NFL in receptions and on pace to break Marvin Harrison’s single-season receptions record. He’s averaging a whopping 109 yards per game in 2019, and he’s shown to be the only reliable wide receiver option in New Orleans. Add in the fact that the Saints are hosting the division rival Atlanta Falcons who are ranked 28th in the league against the pass, and you have a recipe for success for the one labeled “Can’t Guard Mike.”

Odell Beckham Jr (CLE) - $6,100

For OBJ, it’s not necessarily the matchup, because the Cleveland Browns actually have a tough matchup on paper against the Buffalo Bills and the fourth-best passing defense in the NFL. The reason why Odell makes the list is because of value - he’s $2,200 cheaper than Thomas, a price different no one could see coming to start the year. Odell is generally viewed as matchup-proof if he’s used correctly, and it appears the Browns have finally decided they’re going to make it a point to - go figure - use him correctly. Look for Odell to be force-fed the ball this week.

Golden Tate (NYG) - $5,900

Daniel Jones will be without Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram for another week on Sunday when the New York Giants. While Saquon Barkley is an elite pass-catcher out of the backfield, it will really just be The Golden Tate Show for pass-catchers lined out wide. Against the New York Jets and the 5th-worst passing defense, Tate could have solid volume numbers in Week 10.
