We’re a little over 24 hours away from the start of Week 10 Sunday football, so time is running out to get your betting picks in. Whether you’re making picks against the spread or straight up, how the public is betting each game can offer some insight into how you might want to approach your decisions.
DraftKings Sportsbook offers details on how the public is betting, with multiple updates each week. We took a look at the Wednesday splits earlier this week, and we’re back with a look at splits at the end of the day on Friday.
The biggest change from Wednesday to Friday comes in the Dolphins-Colts game. The big news in that is that Jacoby Brissett appears on track to play in Sunday’s game. He’s a game-time decision, but the expectation is that he’ll be able to play. The line has moved from Colts -10 to Colts -11.5, and the betting split has flipped. On Wednesday, 67 percent of the handle and 72 percent of the tickets bet were on the Dolphins. By Friday, 62% of the handle and 48% of the tickets bet are on the Colts. I’d be curious to see how many of the early week Dolphins bettors jumped on the Colts later in the week.
