What to do with George Kittle in Week 13 fantasy football

George Kittle is a top tight end in the league but has been playing through a broken bone in his ankle. Will he be worth starting against a tough Ravens defense in Baltimore?

George Kittle continues to play through a broken bone in his ankle, but it hasn’t seemed to hinder him too much. Against the Packers last week, he caught all six of his targets for 129 yards and a touchdown.

Those six targets last week were easily the high on the team, as Tevin Coleman was second with four, and Raheem Mostert was third with three. Jimmy Garoppolo favored Kittle despite his ankle injury, which is a nearly as positive ad his big game.

Fantasy football analysis: San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle

Kittle isn’t going all out in practice as he saves himself for the game. It doesn’t look like he’s had any setbacks after last week, but he does get a tougher matchup with the Ravens in Baltimore.

Baltimore allows the fifth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends, giving up just two touchdowns to the position this year. They also haven’t faced too many top tight ends, with Travis Kelce being the outlier, who caught 7-of-8 targets for 89 yards.

I do not doubt that Kittle can put up good stats as the primary receiver for the 49ers. This is also a game against an offense that has scored more points than any other offense, which should keep the 49ers busy in their own passing attack if they want to win.
