How to handle Derrick Henry in Week 13 fantasy football

Henry was not on the team’s final injury report, and should be good to go this week.

After dealing with a hamstring injury all week, Derrick Henry was a full go in practice on Friday. Better still, the Tennessee Titans did not list him at all on the week’s final injury report. Ladies and gentlemen, that can only mean one thing—Henry is good to go for this Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The reason Henry’s status was in question at all stems from Wednesday’s practice. He was forced to leave the field early with the hamstring injury. That left some to wonder if he would play this week.

Henry had a huge game against the Jaguars last week, rushing for 159 yards and two touchdowns on just 19 carries. Believe it or not, that was slightly worse than his performance the game before that, when he ran for 188 yards and scored twice against the Chiefs.

Fantasy football analysis, Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry

The Titans lean on Henry every week, and it pays dividends for fantasy football teams. He has a total of 991 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in 11 games this season. He also has a pair of receiving touchdowns this season, though he doesn’t do a lot of work in the passing game.

Only two running backs cost more than Henry does this week at $7,600 in DK leagues, but it’s worth scooping him up in a matchup against the Colts.
