UPDATE: Jones returned to the game and has remained the starter.
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had to go to the medical tent in the second quarter of Week 13 to get his ankle looked at. The medical staff re-taped it and he appears set to go back into the game.
Prior to the brief injury absence, Jones was 11 of 20 for 89 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He has also scrambled three times for ten yards. The Giants trail the Packers 17-10.
Daniel Jones has been limping since that ankle hit on 4th and 2 carry. Had to go into the med tent. Clearly there's something, but as we learned when he played just a few games after a broken collarbone at Duke, DJ is tough, likely to play through it.— Dan Schneier (@DanSchneierNFL) December 1, 2019
