NBA DFS Picks: Top value options on DraftKings for Dec. 10

Wizards-Hornets will be a trendy spot for value with a high implied game total. We take a look at some bargain players for Tuesday night’s four-game slate.

We’ve got a four-game slate in the NBA on DraftKings for Tuesday night and we’re here to check out some value options under $5K to consider. We don’t have much of a player pool, so we’ll have to pick our spots accordingly. I think Wizards-Hornets is a good place to target value given the O/U is set at 232, highest on the slate. Other than that, we’ll see what we can find. Here are some of the best value options on DraftKings for tonight.

Troy Brown, SG/SF, WAS at CHA ($5,000)

Brown is no longer in the starting lineup, but he’s still seeing plenty of minutes off the bench for the Wizards. In a blowout loss to the Clippers last game, Brown played 35 minutes, scoring 22 points with five boards and four assists for 39.25 DKFP. That’s huge return on investment and this game environment could play similarly. Even if Brown doesn’t reach his point ceiling, he’s a steady contributor in rebounds, assists and steals.

Kent Bazemore, SG/SF, POR vs. NYK ($5,000)

With Rodney Hood (Achilles) out, Bazemore has stepped into the starting lineup for the Blazers. He played 36 minutes in the loss to the Thunder last game, and while he didn’t produce many fantasy points (21.25), that was still enough to hit value. His price has shot up and this matchup should play to his strength: banging 3-pointers.

Cody Zeller, C, CHA vs. WAS ($4,600)

In sticking with this game, Zeller is another player who isn’t starting but still sees run off the bench. The Hornets have been starting Bismack Biyombo, but Zeller more minutes the past few games. The Wizards’ front court is soft and doesn’t have anybody with Zeller’s size. Washington allows 36.2 defensive rebounds per game, so a double-double is in play. In a game stack, I like Brown and Zeller as my values.

Derrick Jones Jr., SF/PF, MIA vs. ATL ($3,600)

If you’re looking for a very cheap value, Airplane Mode could take flight tonight vs. the Hawks. Jones has played at least 26 minutes in back-to-back games. We know the Heat are thin in the rotation with Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow and Dion Waiters all out. Even if Waiters returns, or Winslow ends up playing, Miami should run away with this, which means garbage minutes for Jones.

Note: Jones is questionable to play tonight due to an illness.
