Top 50 running back PPR rankings for Week 15 fantasy football

We take you through some of the best running backs going in Week 15 for fantasy football, including a few viable streamers.

UPDATE

Jordan Howard won’t play. Miles Sanders will get the lead role again with Boston Scott mixing in against Washington.

Josh Jacobs plans to play against the jaguars. If he does, he’s still a start against their awful run defense even though he won’t be 100 percent.

Derrick Henry didn’t practice this week but Henry and his coach says he will play. Dion Lewis would get the start if Henry ends up being unable to go.

James Conner appears ready to return this week but he might not be in store for his usual workload, as his shoulder injury is more of a pain management problem at this point and they may try to use him selectively. Benny Snell should continue to see work but the situation is extremely tough for fantasy.

Alexander Mattison is out. Mike Boone will get the majority of his work behind Dalvin Cook.

Bo Scarbrough doesn’t look likely to play with the Lions calling up Wes Hills. This is a situation to avoid completely.

Congratulations on your awesome fantasy football team. You have done well managing your fake team into the real fantasy semis. We’ll take you through the top and bottom plays for this week at running back.

Injury/Status Report

Derrius Guice was put on I.R once again. Adrian Peterson and Chris Thompson will take over.

James Conner is expected to practice this week but there is no guarantee he will play.

Derrick Henry will continue to have his snaps managed, but he still saw 18 touches for 103 yards and two touchdowns with his snaps at a season-low.

Rashaad Penny is on I.R. Chris Carson will regain the bulk of touches.

RB Ranking Tiers

Tier 1

Christian McCaffrey hasn’t lived up to expectations the last two weeks but continues to see good usage and Seattle isn’t a tough run defense and that usually doesn’t matter for McCaffrey.

Saquon Barkley gets a matchup with the Dolphins which is just too good for him not to put up useful fantasy numbers this week.

Chris Carson will be the focal point in a great matchup with the Panthers this week.

Tier 2

Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb both get a good matchup with the Cardinals.

Phillip Lindsay faces a poor run defense in Kansas City and has seen the majority of the snaps of late.

RB Streamers

DeAndre Washington looked good in relief of Josh Jacobs and gets a better matchup this week against the Jaguars. Jacobs’ status is still up in the air.

Raheem Mostert leads the 49ers committee and has put up great numbers on his touches. He should keep his lead job against Atlanta.
