In the first matchup of the final day of 2019, we’ve got the Belk Bowl between the Kentucky Wildcats and Virginia Tech Hokies.
Virginia Tech and Kentucky have very similar betting trends heading into this matchup. The Wildcats are 6-1 covering spreads in their last seven games, while the Hokies are 5-1 in their last six against the number. The point total has gone under for Kentucky in six of its last nine games, and Virginia Tech unders cashed in four of its last five games.
Kentucky quarterback Lynn Bowden declared for the NFL Draft but said he will be participating in the Belk Bowl. Bowl sitters are definitely something to keep an eye on at this point of the season when trying to analyze bowl game point spreads.

Initial Betting Analysis
This should be a tight matchup with no clear-cut favorite in my opinion, so giving the underdog Kentucky three points would be my initial thought. And while unders have consistently hit for both of these teams, I might consider going against that trend as both offenses have been able to put up some points late in the season with both teams averaging around 40 points in their last three games.
