The DraftKings Super Pool pick ‘em contest is coming down the home stretch, and the race for $250,000 is going to come down to the wire. Contestant c4242e, mruane, and JoeD0914 head into Week 15 tied atop the leaderboard. JoeD0914 has burned through their picks, so they’ll likely continue shuffling down the leaderboard this week.

Pick ‘em contests have grown in popularity with the widening legalization of sports betting. The DraftKings contest offers significantly more flexibility than others with how contestants can make picks. The contest began in Week 4 and requires contestants make 70 picks over the course of the season from Week 4 to Week 17. That averages out to five picks per week, but you are not required to make five picks every week.

There are two notable contestants to watch heading into these final three weeks. Contestant vgironda is two points back of the leaders and has ten picks remaining. Contestant Gernardi is another point back and has eight picks remaining. Contestants c4242e and mruane each have four picks remaining.

This past weekend, the Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the top three more correctly picked teams. The Bengals have been an awful football team, but they’ve faired decently against the spread.

On the other side, the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and Arizona Cardinals topped the list of incorrect picks. Considering Dallas’ recent slide and the money moving on the Rams for this week’s matchup, it would not surprise me to see the Rams among the most popular correct or incorrect picks depending on how that game goes.
