The Indianapolis Colts travel to face the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football in Week 15, and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton’s status is still unclear. Hilton has been out since Week 12 after aggravating a calf injury first suffered in Week 8. He met with the media on Wednesday and said he feels “way better” but is unsure about Monday, according to reporter Kevin Bowen.
Hilton talked about potentially playing on Monday, according to beat writer Stephen Holder, but he is not sure yet about it. The team returns to practice on Thursday, which is when we’ll see the first practice participation report.
Fantasy football analysis: Colts wide receivers
If Hilton is questionable heading into Monday Night Football, fantasy football players are stuck in a tough position. If he plays he’s worth a start, but if we won’t know until Monday, we have to make a judgment call on Sunday.
The best option heading in would be to have Zach Pascal on your roster to give you both as an option for Monday. If you don’t and Hilton is listed as questionable, it will depend on what the Saturday/Sunday news looks like. We’ll keep tracking it, but Pascal and Marcus Johnson would be solid additions if you want to play it safe.
