It was a sweet return to Toronto for Kawhi Leonard on Wednesday night. The Los Angeles Clippers star scored 23 points en route to an easy victory over his former team, the Toronto Raptors. Leonard was back in town to accept the ring he helped Toronto win last June, lifting the Raptors to their first ever NBA Championship while winning MVP in the process.
The Raptors held a pretty incredible tribute for Leonard prior to the game, featuring a re-tracing of Kawhi’s steps prior to hitting that buzzer-beater vs. the Philadelphia 76ers in the playoffs.
In DFS, Leonard finished with 41.75 DKFP at a $8,700 salary, which isn’t anything to write home about. The Clippers were up most of the game and were only really tested early in the third quarter before pulling away. Lou Williams ($5,900) was second on the Clips in scoring with 40.5 DKFP on 18 points, six rebounds and eight assists, being tasked with finishing the game at PG with Patrick Beverley going down with a concussion in the second half.
