UPDATE: AD ended up ceding the top scoring position to LeBron James on the night, but was still pretty good, scoring 49 DKFP on 16 points, 12 rebounds and six assists with two steals and blocks a piece. James on the otherhand finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for 58.25 DKFP in the win.
UPDATE: Okay, people, we’re back in the green! AD is doing things in the third quarter AND the Magic are back in the game! Davis has 41 DKFP with a double-double on 14 points 10 rebounds and five assists. He’s got an outside shot at a triple-double, which would help him deliver on his high salary.
UPDATE: Well, the Lakers broke the Magic’s spirit in the first half but AD did end up breaking our lineups. Davis was off to a hot start, but has since cooled off, heading into halftime with just 28 DKFP after scoring 25 in the first quarter. He’s still got the second half, so there’s an easy path to a double-double, but this has got to hurt some lineups.
LeBron James also has 28 DKFP with 16 points six rebounds and three assists. The Lakers are up 51-38, so we’ll see if they come out and bury the Magic or if Orlando can stick around and make this a contest. Surely AD owners are hoping the Magic come back.
It’s the end of the first quarter in Lakers-Magic on Wednesday night and Anthony Davis is on pace for 100 fantasy points on DraftKings. That is all.
Wait no, that isn’t all. Davis ($10,400) has seven points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals through the first frame, good for 25 DKFP. If he keeps this up, we could see a slate-breaking performance from AD tonight. We’ll keep you posted.
