The New Orleans Saints kicked off their Week 15 practice week on Thursday as they prepared to face the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. Tight end Jared Cook was on the practice field as a limited participant due to the concussion he suffered this past Sunday.
Cook has been on a roll of late, and was on track for a monster Week 14 before the concussion. He took the hit on his second touchdown of the game, which happened to come in the first quarter.
The fact that he is limited on the first day suggests he is making progress in the concussion protocol. He will likely be limited again on Friday, and then we will wait and see what Saturday’s final injury report brings.
Fantasy football analysis: Saints TEs Jared Cook, Josh Hill
The Saints don’t play until Monday, so a questionable designation would make for some difficult decisions. If you have a spare roster spot and he is available, grab Josh Hill off waivers. If Cook is a question mark, you’re guaranteed an option either way.
