Final score update: Marquise Brown finished the game with four receptions for 45 yards and the touchdown.

Update #2: And just like that Hollywood has broken out. He caught a 24-yard pass from Lamar Jackson for a touchdown.

Third quarter update: Marquise Brown finally got the ball in his hands in the third quarter. He now has two receptions for 14 yards.

The Baltimore Ravens lead the New York Jets 21-7 at halftime, and wide receiver Marquise Brown has been relatively quiet. The box score lists no targets, but he had one target that resulted in a defensive pass interference call in the end zone. It set the Ravens up with 1st and goal and they eventually scored when Lamar Jackson found Mark Andrews in the end zone.

Brown has been helpful as a blocker this week, but this marks a third straight quiet week for the rookie. The past two weeks he had a combined four receptions for negative one yards! He had 42 yards and two touchdowns the week prior to that.

It’s been a decidedly up-and-down season for Brown. He had 147 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 and then 86 yards on eight catches in Week 2. He’s got two games with two touchdowns and two more with one score. He’s going to be an interesting one to consider when 2020 fantasy drafts arrive. His upside will draw some folks in, while his inconsistency will push him down other folks’ draft boards.
