The Carolina Panthers have officially ruled out tight end Greg Olsen for Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, according to team reporter Max Henson. Olsen suffered a concussion in Week 13 and missed Week 14. He was listed as limited all three days in practice this week, but has yet to clear the concussion protocol.
Ian Thomas started in Olsen’s place last week and caught five of ten targets for 57 yards and a touchdown. He will start this weekend once again.
Fantasy football analysis: Panthers TE Ian Thomas
The Seahawks are atrocious against tight ends, giving up the second most fantasy points to the position. Thomas is a strong start this week in traditional fantasy, but also is of note in DFS at $3,100. We’ll likely see a lot of contestants grabbing Thomas given the value of the matchup. If you look to matchup with popular picks, keep an eye on Thomas in Week 15.
