The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints head into Week Week 15 having lost their last game in shootouts. However, the Saints have clinched their division and have a playoff spot secured while the Colts have a slim chance of sneaking into the playoffs.
The Saints loss to the 49ers last week dropped them from the No. 1 seed and a bye to the No. 3 seed and hosting a wild card game. Their best chance to take the No. 2 seed is to beat out the Packers, who have a half game on them after beating the Bears on Sunday.
After the Colts, the Saints take on the Titans and then the Panthers. These are all winnable games for them, and if they win out, their odds of gaining that bye week go way up, but they aren’t assured.
The Colts are unsure if T.Y. Hilton will be available for Monday’s game. They are in must-win territory as a loss drops them two games back with two games to go. With Pittsburgh losing Sunday evening, a win moves them to within a game of the Steelers and Titans for the second wild card berth.
