UPDATE #3: Conley is expected to miss multiple games after re-injuring his hamstring last night vs. the Magic, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Tony Jones.
Jazz guard Mike Conley Jr. is expected to miss multiple games with his reaggravated left hamstring and could miss multiple weeks, league sources tell me and @Tjonesonthenba.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) December 18, 2019
So we’re back to when Conley was out and Donovan Mitchell was the primary ball-handler. This is good for Spida in both season-long and DFS, so adjust accordingly. We should also see Jingling Joe Ingles back in the starting 5 moving forward with Conley sidelined, so be sure to scoop him up again.
UPDATE #2: Conley has re-injured his hamstring and will not return to Tuesday night’s game vs. the Magic.
Mike Conley will not return due to his left hamstring. That's the same one he missed 5 games for until tonight.— Andy Larsen (@andyblarsen) December 18, 2019
UPDATE: Conley is available to play Tuesday night vs. the Magic.
Jazz Injury Update:— Utah Jazz (@utahjazz) December 18, 2019
Mike Conley - AVAILABLE (left hamstring tightness)
It’s unclear if Conley will start or if he’ll be restricted at all, so we’ll see on that. If he’s starting and isn’t held back, probably not a DFS play anyway given the other spots on the slate.
Jazz Injury Report:— Utah Jazz (@utahjazz) December 16, 2019
Mike Conley - PROBABLE (left hamstring tightness)
Conley has missed the past five games due to a hamstring injury. With Conley likely to be back, he should be inserted into the starting lineup, moving Donovan Mitchell back to SG. Joe Ingles should go back to the bench as well. With Conley back at PG, the ball is out of Mitchell’s hands more, which should impact his fantasy basketball value for Tuesday on DraftKings. In season-long, both Conley and Mitchell are viable plays, but Ingles probably goes back into a lesser role.
