Michael Thomas has been open all night against the Colts, as he’s caught five passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown catch was his 126 reception of the season, which breaks the Saints record of 125 receptions set by who else. Michael Thomas.

Thomas is well on his way to breaking Marvin Harrison’s record of 143 receptions in 2002. Thomas’ touchdown also pushed Drew Brees to 538 touchdown passes, tying him with Tom Brady for second all time. One more and he ties Peyton Manning for the most all time.

Thomas ended his evening with 12 receptions on 12 targets for 128 yards and a touchdown. He now has 133 on the year, needing 10 to tie and 1 to beat Harrison’s record. As long as he stays healthy, he should easily hit that number with two games remaining and the Saints looking to move up to the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
