Mavericks do the unthinkable, end Bucks’ 18-game winning streak without Luka Doncic

Dallas pulls away in the second half behind Kristaps Porzingis, Jalen Brunson. Giannis Antetokounmpo drops 48 in loss.

Dallas Mavericks v Milwaukee Bucks

This game appeared destined to be a blowout. The Bucks were favored by 10.5 points and the Mavericks were missing their star, Luka Doncic. Instead, the game ended up being a relatively comfortable win for Dallas. It opened up an early 15 point lead and never really trailed.

Led by Kristaps Porzingis ($7,800) and his 53.5 DKFP, the Mavs’ supporting cast proved this team’s success is due to more than the star power of Doncic. Seth Curry ($4,000; 38.25 DKFP), Delon Wright ($3,700; 30.25 DKFP) and Dorian Finney-Smith ($3,900; 30 DKFP) all delivered strong value performances and Jalen Brunson ($5,500) took charge of the offense. He had a double-double with a season-high 11 assists and 37.5 DKFP.

It took a team effort to hold off another big game from MVP favorite Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,100). He scored 76 DKFP, but didn’t get much help from his teammates. Giannis was the only Bucks’ starter to have double-digit points.
