We’re back at it with another six-game slate on Tuesday night on DraftKings in the NBA. We’ve got a handful of injuries to track, including three rotation players on the Los Angeles Clippers and a big name on the Phoenix Suns. Oh yeah, and Anthony Davis has popped up on the injury report again. Could be one of those nights, you know what I mean? So yeah, let’s take a look at some top options at each position for the main six-game slate on DraftKings tonight.
Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN at NOP, $7,500 — This is as easy as any pick will get tonight. Kyrie Irving remains out and Dinwiddie has been great filling in at point guard for the Brooklyn Nets. He’s scored 24 points in four straight games with at least six assists in each contest. That’s a model of consistency right there. The Pelicans are falling apart and are awful on defense, plus they’re without JJ Redick tonight. I can’t imagine why Dinwiddie’s price is down compared to $8,200 last game vs. the Philadelphia 76ers. Take advantage here.
Other Options: Trae Young, ATL at NYK, $9,900; Elfrid Payton, NYK vs. ATL, $5,200
Buddy Hield, SAC @ CHA, $7,200 — I’ve been preaching the gospel of Buddy for a few weeks now and hey, look, his price is almost the same! Okay, okay, it’s down a bit after being all the way up at $8,400 vs. the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. Hield was fine in that game, but was never going to return value on that price. This matchup is just as good vs. the Charlotte Hornets and Hield’s back at a reasonable tag. He should get back on track.
Other Options: Evan Fournier, ORL at UTA, $6,300; Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC at CHA, $5,300
Kelly Oubre Jr., PHX at LAC, $6,700 — This isn’t a fantastic matchup for Oubre considering he could have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George chasing him around all night. But still, if Devin Booker (forearm) is out again, Oubre should take on more of a scoring role. I think Deandre Ayton (suspension) returning takes some attention away from Oubre and Ricky Rubio ($7,600). We saw Oubre score 24 points last night vs. the Portland Trail Blazers and even when Booker is playing, Kelly O normally gets 30+ minutes.
Other Options: LeBron James, LAL at IND, $10,900; Marcus Morris, NYK vs. ATL, $6,200
Montrezl Harrell, LAC at PHX, $6,900 — So Harrell will likely matchup against either Dario Saric or Deandre Ayton tonight. Both of those matchups are appealing, plus we could see Doc Rivers get Harrell a favorable matchup against Frank Kaminsky off the bench. I like this spot for Harrell, who is coming off 30 points and seven boards vs. the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. This was without Kawhi Leonard in there, but I still think Montrezl has contrarian value tonight.
Other Options: Brandon Ingram, NOP vs. BKN, $8,100; Julius Randle, NYK vs. ATL, $7,000
Jarrett Allen, BKN at NOP, $6,400 — Like Dinwiddie, I think this is a great spot for Allen and the Nets in general. Allen’s price is way too low for this spot considering how poor New Orleans is on defense and how quick the pace of tonight’s game should be. We’ve seen Allen priced over $7K recently thanks to a string of double-doubles. He’s cooled off the past two games, but that was against the Sixers and Toronto Raptors, two tough matchups. This is possibly the best game environment in fantasy basketball.
Other Options: Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. ORL, $7,900; Cody Zeller, CHA vs. SAC, $5,400
