UPDATE: Griffin has been ruled out for Friday vs. the Celtics, along with Luke Kennard and Christian Wood.

So with Griff out, Morris should get back into the starting lineup and is a great DFS value play. At $5,000 he should have a soft matchup against Boston, which lacks frontcourt size. The Pistons have a lot of guards off the bench but I like Langston Galloway ($3,300) the most with Kennard sidelined.

UPDATE: Griffin is being listed as doubtful for Friday’s game vs. the Boston Celtics. Andre Drummond has been removed from the injury report and should be OK to start again. With Griffin not looking like he’ll play, we should see Markieff Morris start and see a ton of minutes. The Pistons are already down Christian Wood, who was ruled out earlier today. Drummond, Morris and Thon Maker make up most of Detroit’s front court for the matchup.

Detroit Pistons PF/C Blake Griffin and C Andre Drummond are both game-time decisions Wednesday vs. the Toronto Raptors.

Griffin and Drummond were both out Monday vs. the Washington Wizards. Griffin is dealing with knee soreness and Drummond is still struggling with an eye infection as a result of an allergic reaction to an avocado. Yep. Well, it looks like both are expected to be back, but we won’t know more until closer to game time Wednesday vs. Toronto.

If both are out again, Markieff Morris and Thon Maker should start again. Both would make for decent values, but this is a much tougher matchup vs. the Raptors’ lengthy frontcourt. Christian Wood would also see more minutes off the bench. If both are back, act accordingly. Morris, Maker and Wood all get a downgrade. Griffin appears like the safer play, we don’t know if Drummond’s eye will act up again. I’d wait until Wednesday to gather more info before making any lineup adjustments.
