Top 30 tight end rankings for Week 16 fantasy football

We take you through some of the best tight ends going in Week 16 for fantasy football, including a few viable streamers.

The fantasy championships are here and so are you, which means you are in the fantasy championship! Congratulations. Now it’s time to set your lineup and that means throwing a dart at a tight end or confidently clicking on George Kittle or Zach Ertz for the 15th time this season.

Below we have your Week 16 tight end rankings to help you set those championship lineups. Good luck!

Injury/Status Report

Evan Engram has been put on I.R. Unless Rhett Ellison can return this week, Kaden Smith should continue to have some TE2 value this week.

Greg Olsen cleared concussion protocol and will return this week. Ian Thomas will return to his backup role.

TE Ranking Tiers

Tier 1

Zach Ertz gets a good matchup against the Cowboys in a must-win game and has the highest target projection of the week.

George kittle was the 49ers whole offense last week. They probably don’t want that to be the way it always is but there’s no doubt that he is the go-to receiver. This isn’t an easy matchup with the Rams but Kittle is very much matchup proof.

Tier 2

Jacob Hollister gets the Arizona discount this week and I expect him to take them up on their poor defensive ways.

Jared Cook was a dud for much of the season but has come on strong and the Titans are weak against tight ends.

TE Streamers

O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate were the top targets last week with Mike Evans gone and now with Chris Godwin likely out, they should easily see enough targets to put up good fantasy numbers against the Texans weak tight end defense.
