So our good friends at DraftKings Sportsbook have a featured odds boost (you should definitely check them out and take advantage if you’re in an eligible state). Even if you aren’t, it’s a parlay worth taking a look at. DK has +525 odds on Kristaps Porzingis, Pascal Siakam and Joel Embiid all recording a double-double on tonight’s slate. So I’m here to give you some advice as to whether or not it’s worth taking a risk on. Let’s take a look.

DraftKings Odds Boost Betting Analysis
So I’m going to start by looking at the individual lines on each player to record a double-double and see if that sheds any light on the situation. Embiid is -335 to do so, Siakam isn’t being offered straight up and Porzingis is -152 to get a double-double. So other than not having info on Pascal, we know the booksmakers think both Embiid and Porzingis have a decent shot at reach the plateau.
If we take a look at Siakam, he has a double-double in three of his past nine games. Which isn’t good. So because of the inconsistency, matchup gets taken into consideration. The Toronto Raptors face the Detroit Pistons, who could be without both Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond again. If that’s the case, they don’t appear to be a top 10 rebounding team, per usual. So this obviously boosts Spicy P’s chances of reaching 10 rebounds. I think Drummond is the key here. If he’s out, Siakam has a shot at it. The Pistons have an effective FG% of 54.2, thanks mostly to Drummond getting easy buckets down low. Toronto isn’t a good rebounding team, but Detroit also doesn’t have a high defensive rebounding percentage (72.5).
So in conclusion, it’s a tough call. I’d wait and see on the news before taking the odds boost. If Drummond and Griffin are out, I’d say let it ride. If Drummond and Griffin are in, I’d be worried about Siakam reaching that mark. Porzingis also isn’t a shoe-in either. But his usage and minutes should be high, plus the Boston Celtics don’t have much size.
Note: Griffin and Drummond will play tonight vs. the Raptors.
