Julius Randle will play Friday vs. Heat [UPDATE]

Knicks forward returned to practice Thursday and is able to suit up. PG Frank Ntilikina also available.

UPDATE: Randle and Ntilikina are both going to play Friday vs. the Heat.

So nothing really changes here. Ntilikina has been starting but will probably cede minutes to Payton and DSJ off the bench. Randle seems to be fine to roll out in season-long and DFS, but not somebody I’d recommend heavily given the tough road matchup.

UPDATE: Randle practiced Thursday and is expected to play Friday vs. the Miami Heat.

New York Knicks forward Julius Randle did not practice Wednesday ahead of their game vs. the Miami Heat on Friday.

Randle is dealing with a sore left leg and it appears he may be questionable for Friday’s contest vs. Miami. He finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the Knicks’ blowout win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night. Randle only played 23 minutes in that game, but mostly due to the game script. PG Frank Ntilikina is also dealing with an illness that may put his playing status in question. Ntilikina had just three points in 18 minutes the other night vs. the Hawks and has taken a back seat to Elfrid Payton and R.J. Barrett at the PG position for New York.
