The New Orleans Pelicans have made Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram untouchable in trade talks as the deadline approaches, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times.
While mired in a 12-game losing streak, New Orleans indeed remains reluctant to trade JJ Redick, according to league sources, on top of the team's two presumed untouchables: Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram

The Pelicans are also reluctant to deal guard JJ Redick, per Stein. This all coming after the report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe that the Pelicans could consider dealing point guard Jrue Holiday before the deadline. New Orleans is currently on a 12-game losing streak heading into Wednesday vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Things aren’t good and the team probably needs to shift focus towards a rebuild and potentially look for a new coach. Alvin Gentry hasn’t been able to get the team back on track after many believed the Pels would be playoff contenders this season despite trading Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers.
