College football is regularly rife rumors circulating about players potentially being suspended for one reason or another. We have suspension rumor season in full swing in 2019 for the College Football Playoff semifinals. There are rumors of multiple Oklahoma players facing suspension, although for what exactly is not entirely clear.
The group reportedly include running backs Kennedy Brooks and Rhamondre Stevenson. On Wednesday, head coach Lincoln Riley was asked about both players playing in the Peach Bowl when Oklahoma faces LSU. Riley said Brooks would play, but then when asked if Stevenson would play, he said Kennedy Brooks will play.

Jalen Hurts is the most important player on this Sooners team, but Brooks and Stevenson have served as strong complements in the ground game. This season, Brooks has rushed for 976 yards on 6.7 yards per carry and Stevenson has rushed for 515 yards on 8.0 yards per carry.
It’s safe to say we’ll hear plenty more about this evolving situation. The DraftKings Sportsbook line opened at LSU -10, but has climbed since to -14.
