Lonzo Ball, JJ Redick will both play Wednesday vs. Timberwolves [UPDATE]

Point guard was dealing with hip injury, while shooting guard will return after one-game absence.

UPDATE: Both Ball and Redick are available to play.

This hurts a bit of the value we like in Hart and Williams, but I still think Hart is in a good spot. Jrue Holiday is also a decent GPP play on DraftKings despite Ball and Redick returning. But obviously he has less appeal now.

UPDATE: Redick will play while Ball is a game-time decision Wednesday vs. the Timberwolves.

We had a feeling Redick would be back, but we’ll have to wait and see on Ball. I’d say he’s a risky DFS play at this point and there are better options on the other side of this game.

New Orleans Pelicans PG Lonzo Ball is questionable and SG JJ Redick is probable Wednesday night vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Redick is dealing with a groin issue and didn’t play last night vs. the Brooklyn Nets. Ball has a hip injury and is questionable after logging 35 minutes against the Nets, scoring 10 points with eight boards and four assists.

Fantasy Basketball Analysis: New Orleans Pelicans guards

So with Redick back, Kenrich Williams ($3,700) will likely go back to the bench. But not so fast, if Ball is ruled out, we could see Jrue Holiday ($7,800), Redick and Williams all in the backcourt. We also could see Josh Hart ($5,300) pop into the starting lineup after playing 40 minutes last night. Either way, Hart should be involved. It’s a good matchup all around, so keep an eye on the status of Ball and Redick moving forward.
